About the role
Our Transformation and projects team, composed of 12 people, is integrated in the Industrial Manufacturing excellence department and focuses on transformation programs for Solvay's manufacturing sites.
As a Senior transformation leader NA, you will work on our multi year transformative and historical breakthrough program encompassing our operational sites: STAR that is about building and operating the Solvay Plant of the Future.
You will get the opportunity to contribute to driving the practices for lean manufacturing and lean operations through the entire company and have a positive impact on helping our sites to reach the highest level of operational excellence.
You will be accountable for:
Driving the Star Transformation program design, implementation and tracking in our manufacturing sites in close collaboration with the site teams deploying the lean approach with consistency up to the highest level of maturity in order to drive superior performance improvement
Developing & sustaining internal momentum around the different transformation activities to ensure the short term and long term performance objectives of the program of the sites are achieved
Collaborating with Digital teams to help develop new digital solutions allowing standardization and simplification of activities and processes.
You will report to the Industrial Function to the Industrial Excellence and Star Factory Director
We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode.
About you
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Chemical or Mechanical engineering.
Relevant work experience in manufacturing sites and process industry.
Competencies:
Interested in industrial manufacturing environment, data driven and result oriented
Digital savvy, understanding how digital and other emerging technologies can impact operations and drive simplification
English - second/third language is a plus
Behaviors:
Communicate in a multilevel multicultural environment
Strong capacity of coaching in different cultural contexts
Fast learner, highly flexible, motivator and ability "influence to impact"
The role requires traveling (average 30% of the time)
About the pay and benefits
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the US base pay reasonably expected for this role is $145,000.00 to $180,000.00, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience.
Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
